Jamjoom Pharma, one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in Saudi Arabia, announced the launching of a new factory in Egypt, during the signing ceremony of partnership agreements between Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
Jamjoom Pharma’s vice president, Mahmoud Youssef, said that the chances for cooperation between Egypt and Saudi Arabia are very substantial, especially in the private sector, pointing out that Jamjoom Pharma has financed the equal of about EGP 1bn in Obour City.
Mahmoud Youssef, also added that Egypt will be a local centre for exporting the company’s products to Africa over the next three years.
He also mentioned that the new factory intends to present 30 products in the first year and will expand to 70 products in the second year of operation, concentrating on eye diseases, dermatology, and antibiotics.
