Nonin Medical and Corscience Partner to Expand Global Reach in Patient Monitoring Solutions

Nonin Medical

Nonin Medical, a leader in SpO₂ monitoring solutions, and Corscience, a specialist in CO₂ monitoring, have announced a strategic partnership to co-promote their respective OEM product offerings. This collaboration aims to enhance the availability of high-quality patient monitoring technologies in both the US and European markets.

The partnership responds to the growing demand for advanced respiratory and cardiovascular disease monitoring devices. “As the challenges of global healthcare become increasingly complex, we recognize the urgency and need for innovative solutions. This partnership brings together specialists in pulse oximetry and capnography who will use their combined sales channels to promote high-quality monitoring modules and devices to customers and, most importantly, to caregivers around the world,” stated Dr. Jörg Pintaske, CEO of Corscience.

Cardiovascular disease remains a significant health threat, responsible for 41% of all deaths in the US last year, according to the American Heart Association. In Europe, the European Society of Cardiology reports an even higher figure of 45%. Advanced monitoring systems that offer precise capnography and pulse oximetry measurements are critical in reducing these statistics and saving lives. The goal of this partnership is to ensure seamless global access to these essential technologies.

The collaboration between Corscience and Nonin Medical is expected to expand the market presence of both companies. Corscience plans to leverage this partnership to increase the reach of its CAP capnography module, particularly in North America, while Nonin Medical aims to broaden the global distribution of its SpO₂ monitoring solutions.

“Nonin’s mission is to improve the lives of patients through noninvasive monitoring, and we are excited to partner with Corscience. This partnership will expand access to high-quality capnography and pulse oximetry devices, helping improve patient outcomes,” said John Hastings, CEO of Nonin Medical.
