A Center for Social Determinants of Health Innovation has launched by The Association for Community Affiliated Plans (ACAP).
The purpose of launching this center is to bring together best practices from policy, academia, and the real-world experience of ACAP’s ‘74 safety net health plan members.
This center is planning to offer tailored resources, involving market research, and roundtable educational events to help health plans and policymakers, address social issues that impact health and wellbeing, such as food insecurity and housing and inadequate access to transportation. Also, it will work to help reduce health disparities.
