UCF Unites Healthcare Services Under New UCF Health Brand

UCF

The University of Central Florida (UCF) has announced the consolidation of its extensive healthcare services under a new unified brand, UCF Health. Clinical faculty at UCF provide nearly 120,000 patient visits annually, and this rebranding aims to enhance the community’s understanding of the wide range of medical services available through UCF’s healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and audiologists.

“UCF is taking care of our community’s health in so many extraordinary ways,” said Deborah German, vice president for health affairs and dean of UCF’s College of Medicine. “By bringing these services under the UCF Health brand, we make it easier for our community to understand our services and seek academic patient care.”

The rebranding is part of UCF’s broader initiative to develop its Academic Health Sciences Center, which integrates all clinical programs across the university, including the colleges of Health Professions and Sciences, Medicine, and Nursing, as well as Student Health Services. This initiative includes the planned 2025 opening of the Dr. Phillips Nursing Pavilion in Lake Nona’s Medical City, which will be adjacent to the medical school. UCF plans to further expand its clinical programs in Lake Nona to promote interprofessional education, research, and patient care.

The university’s healthcare services span nearly 140,000 square feet of clinical space, serving Central Florida patients and families nationwide. UCF Health’s offerings include primary and specialty care, physical therapy, and communication disorder treatments, provided through multiple clinics across UCF’s campuses.

In addition to these services, UCF’s Academic Health Sciences Center supports the community through service learning clinics that offer free care to medically underserved populations, including the KNIGHTS Clinic, Chapman Compassionate Care Clinic, and a clinic for Apopka farmworkers.
