Japan’s pharmaceutical company, Astellas Pharma, has opened its scientific and technical office in Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh. For the time being, the newly founded office intends to accelerate collaboration with major stakeholders, industry partners, healthcare providers, and local authorities.
According to a press release on Wednesday, this launch is aligned with the objective of Astellas, to deliver the Saudi healthcare infrastructure with treatments and medicines.
President of International Markets Commercial at Astellas, Leon Moore, said that their technical and scientific office in Riyadh is a natural addition of the work they are already doing universally and associated with the Saudi government’s efforts to offer world-class and inclusive healthcare to patients.
The Tokyo-based company will generate new job opportunities for Saudi citizens and provide new skills among regional communities, through Riyadh office.
