To treat cancer patients in the emirate, Abu Dhabi has launched its first personalised precision medicine programme, with the first phase focusing on the care of patients suffering from breast cancer.
Abu Dhabi health regulator, the Department of Health (DoH), has launched this programme, in collaboration with Mubadala Health, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, New York University (NYU Abu Dhabi), Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) and G42 Healthcare.
The main aim of this programme is to detect, diagnose and treat patients using the latest research and models of care.
The inauguration of the programme builds on the DoH’s aim to drive the future of the healthcare sector utilizing developed artificial intelligence-based technologies, and position Abu Dhabi as an innovation hub in life sciences.
